Holding your breath under water

Yes, I am serious. I swear we could put scuba gear on our dogs and they would swim under water! Here is Kona by the jet of water and then we have our Jill under water. And its not a one time event they do this all day. It cracks me up! Oh and we are on the puppy countdown. 1 more week before Kealani comes home! I am trying to get back out there to get more pictures of her! I will keep you posted!

Well we went out to see the new pups at Willow Creek Goldens and Sue took a great picture of Joeys parents. The white one is Mischka his dad and the gold one is Bella his mom. And we can all guess the conclusion looking at the rest of the pictures. *****Sigh****** Her name is Kealani.

Our Secret Garden

Well it should be called Our Secret Grove really. On our morning walks we ususally just walk down this old street that comes to a dead end. But today we discovered some new and beautiful secrets hidden behind the eucaliptus trees that opened up to a beautiful grove and creek. It had willow trees and families of ducks and we even saw a white egret! Joey bounded on the green grass and he reminded me of a wild mustang the way he shakes his head while he is froliking. It was unreal. Wow! What a great start to our day!

Blog/Best Friend Award

I want you all to know about the greatest person I know who inspires me on a daily basis and helps me with her regular doses of "vacation retreat refief" at her pool. She has allowed Joey and I to become a part of her "pack" and I couldnt be more greatful! She is so much fun and we giggle at the same things and have something that is genuine. We went out for an adventure today to Lake Calaveras with Sue and Judy and their dogs. Oh it was so much fun and such a beautiful day. I love being with my pack!

Today finally arrived! Here is Joey in the splash dog competition at Wags for Wishes and he came in 5th place! Pretty good for my pup and I am so proud! Today he is 8 months old! Thanks to Sue and her daughter Nickis help too! This is the best day ever! Whoo Hoo!!!!!!!!!

Me and Joey on our morning walk on "The Strand" in Oceanside. It was all so new to Joey, new smells and new people. We met another Golden named Alex, he was visiting from Michigan.We had a lot of fun!

Boo Bear and Adam Bear

Can someone tell me how my Adam Bear grew up so fast? He is almost 10 years old and he is on the Junior Lifeguards in Del Mar. And I am so proud of him! But it seems just yesterday I was changin his diapers!
