Dogs were heros that day too and Golden Retrievers helped out.
Looking for a picture to express how I feel Im in tears. I picked a picture not of the disaster but of new hope. I will NEVER forget that day I was driving to work and I heard about it over the radio and it was too unreal! I will Never forget that day. I hope you all are remembering that day too. Please, Hugs the ones you love!

I will never forget....
I was in NYC about 4 months after the attack....it was surreal....
I also met a golden retriever who was one of the first on site....(can't remember his name at the moment)...and his handler...very cool, but so sad that their searches were in vain....

A very sad day indeed. God bless all the folks - human and canine - that emerged as unsung heroes from the tragedy.
