I live about a mile from MCAS Miramar where the Blue Angels are in the Air Show this weekend. The jets fly right over our neighborhood and my house! Oh you should hear the sounds!!! You can hear the engines and they sould like they are coming around in front of you but they actually come screaming in from behind you!!!! The power these jets have send a shiver through your body!!! It was an awesome sight!!!

Wow! Great shots of the jets and pilots - and I feel so privileged to have actually HEARD them!!! And also sorry I missed Joey's lizard post - not sure how I managed that! I love lizards too!

Cool -- you get to see the show and you don't have to deal with the 5 or the 805!
How do the pups handle it? Duncan howls every time a firetruck gos by (he's picky and ignores police and ambulance sirens, only howling at the firetrucks). I can't imagine what he'd do with jets that low screaming over us.
