Laying in the leaves, and other backyard happenings

I was sitting in my chair looking at Joey thinking he looked so beautiful there laying in the leaves.

Finally I am able to photograph these hummers with my newest camera!

Here is the male, he runs the whole neighborhood of hummingbirds here! Ive grown attached to these guys and have 2 feeders out. Im very careful to change their nectar 3 times a week so its super fresh. I think he knows who I am as he has never dive bombed me Haha! Oh and another season of owls have come around and now we have about 5 boxes to watch with cameras inside and Ive fallen for Willow and she has a blog too that I work on. Feel free to check it out!

Ohhh theres nothing better than a crackling fire while its super cold outside at night!!!! Turn up the volume to hear the fire!!!!

Youve Got Mail!

Ok, here is our spot where we have to check all the pee mail everyday!!! All along this side of the street are all sorts of smells and new ones all the time!

This spot is espescially smelly and all sorts of smells for Joey and Kealani to check and it takes about 10 minutes to get through it! They have to smell every blade of grass!

Here is where a lizard is hanging out all the time sunning himself but he wasnt there today! Where is he you guys????

I HAVE to do this walk everyday! They have to make sure everything is in order. Its funny the spots that are their favorites.

Christmas Day with Joey and Kealani

How fun it was on Christmas morning! They got the hang of ripping the presents open and enjoying their treats!!! Whoo Hooo!!!

At dinner time I went over to Auntie Sues house where she had tons of food!!! She is a great cook! And I love being a part of the family there since I dont have my own family except Joey and Kealani. So it turned out to be a fantastic day all around!!!

We hope you enjoyed your Christmas as much as we did!!!

Is there a Lizard up there?????

Theres a lizard that lives in this tree that taunts Joey and Kealani like a squirrel would. He runs around the trunk so Joey and Kealani cant ever seem to catch him! Its fun to watch!!!!

Dirty Dogs

Myke Ross is the best groomer! Voted top 3 on the A list and #1 in Ranch and Coast! he has been grooming for 6 years! Next to him is Jonti who is VERY sweet and helped me to my car gotta give him a shout out!!OK , this is what NOT to do!!! Dont let mats accumulate on your dogs! Brush your dogs!!! I was guilty of not keeping up on the brushing and this is what came off of Kealani!!!! Oh Im crushed!!! Mats hurt your dogs so keep them groomed!!!! Thats an order!

The thing I like about Dirty Dogs is its by a huge dog park and near a food court where you can have lunch with your dogs and then take them over to Dirty Dogs for a treat or a bath. You can also wash your dog there on your own!
