Grass Patch

Our backyard has kind of died off as far as the grass goes. We can only water our lawns every other day here in California because of the drought. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays or something like that. So I fenced off a little section to try and grow some green grass so my backyard isnt a dirt pile. But this fenced off grassy part seems to be Kealanis new favorite place to lay on. Out of the whole backyard, she found a way into this patch of grass! It must be cool and soft! That little buger!

We've actually cut back to watering once a week to conserve water and keep our bill down (they were threatening to double the water rates) ... it seems to be enough to (barely) keep the grass alive, but mainly we want the fruit trees to survive.

You'll just have to bring the kids to Denver where it rains every day and our grass is growing out of control! Duncan could teach them the finer ways to roll in it!

It is rather interesting for me to read the article. Thanx for it. I like such topics and everything that is connected to this matter. I would like to read a bit more on that blog soon.
